SMART Local 1 has 2 retirement accounts. The National Pension Fund is a mandatory contribution dictated by SMART International. Plan Documents can be found through the links under the 'Resources' tab. The Construction Industry Fund of Rockford is a voluntary retirement plan that was adopted by Local 1 in the mid-90's. Plan Documents can be found under the 'Resources' tab as well. Members can check their account balances by making an account on Principal's website or app. Through your principal account, you can also move your money around into other funds within the Rockford Fund.
